Neurodiversity is a vital concept. Understanding the difference between neurodiverse & neurodivergent is much more important than splitting hairs over linguistics. I made a comic explainer.

@your_nd_coach If you think it will help you then ask for what you need- there is often more flexibility in the system than it looks and you may find this is someone *trying* to be helpful without fully understanding what that means for you. If it was me (as a lecturer) I would want to know
@your_nd_coach No worries at all- I really love the conceptual framework they come up with, I have used it and applied it to working with ND young people. It's fab 🙂
@emilynordmann I don't have an article to link, but it's because chatGPT is a language model that doesn't actually "know" anything. It can only produce outputs that sound right, based on the initial data it was trained on and user feedback (when users say which of two answers is better)

@sadhbh_dwyer @m_nind White wine and jelly beans... What a combination! Not quite the adrenaline rush or jeopardy or climbing a wet slippery statue... I'd better get in training!
Thank you so much to @m_nind and @cfrauenberger for examining my thesis, and for some interesting and insightful discussions and suggestions in my viva this morning
Massive thanks, as always, go my fabulous supervisors Sarah Parsons and @HannaKovshoff, as well as the rest of the @ACoRNSoton and of course everyone @FairmeadYeovil
@eyfs4m @ElaineMcgreevy So great that someone has already flagged this- digital stories are super useful for this. I have been involved in some of the research relating to this and used it with older children to document their experiences. More than happy to chat on DM if that's helpful!
Prof Sarah Parsons will be speaking at this #BERA_Ethics online event 20th April on ethical challenges of doing participatory ‘voice’ research with children with SEND in schools https://t.co/yxidUy6h6a
