@brandon_nwokeji@TargetGuyJY Completely agree. Looking at mocks my biggest take away is take whoever is left of the top 3 guys at pick 3, take your pick of a few great options at 16, and maybe trade up a few spots from 32 depending on how the draft plays out.
Wasch seems like a smart guy, but this is an exceptionally, unbelievably stupid answer when the easiest response is just "why didn't you start this dating back to only this 2026 NBA Draft versus the 2025 NBA Draft when if you started it in this draft, no team would be impacted?"
@GabeKuhnShow@BradCarson@G_Kuhn71@CDunning929@929espn I think it’s always good to listen to offers but there are very few things that would even get me to pick up the phone. Mainly if the FO has the two guys available at three as very similar prospects I’d be open to moving down if Chicago overpays.
@PAKA_FLOCKA I’m never going to complain if we end up winning games because our young guys are hungry and playing hard. You want guys to stay competitive and not be complacent with losing.
@J_Timberfake_ Terrible trade for the Heat. They give up Ware for no reason other than to help Minny get Giannis. Clarke won’t be seen as a positive with his injuries. Would be better to just have those as separate two team deals.
@SluggaSports@dunkbutler You aren’t getting a top 3 pic in this draft via trade for anything even remotely reasonable. I think they target Fleming at 5 since moving up just a few spots and not into that elite tier is more doable.
@NBAMyke Honestly I think it is more likely Ja goes to LAC, Harden goes to a third team, and Memphis gets salary from the third team with hopefully some ok incentive.
NEW — rare Sunday drop, rare league-wide post 🚨
I put together a 30-team NBA Trade Deadline primer — tiering teams up on their deadline aspirations, showing what may be on/off the table, each team’s season outlook, and 1 mock trade per team. 🔗👇
@GTC901 If you could convince Atlanta to offer a package around the NOP 1st for JJJ and the tank a bit ourselves, two good picks (and hopefully one is a top pick) in this draft to add to that core makes it significantly better.
@NBAMyke I don’t think Ty is necessarily part of the youth core and is more likely to eventually be moved for assets once he returns from injury and recovers his value. Having three good guards after the isn’t an issue. See who continues to develop. Cam may be the bench SG long term.
