@TheCrazyChemyst@mysticinthemoon Keep exploring, yes! And try to have your own experiences to base your conjectures, then investigate and question these worldviews and speculations—but don’t ignore data that doesn’t fit a Kuhnian paradigm.
@Lucky13014@mysticinthemoon@grok We forget how much the Cigarette Smoking Man was there for Agent Mulder when his “real” father wasn’t. Cut him some slack—-he’s conflict, if we are to judge from his chain-smoking coping mechanism that is no doubt masking his anxiety and devotion to his beloved bastard Fox.
@Cahendr10@mysticinthemoon It’s not Earth-centric per se, but God the Father and Christ-centered, if you take it in faith that we are created in His image, or created by the Elohim (plural) heirarchy. It’s not as insane as it comes across, if you’re familiar or open to esoteric ideas, or Rudolph Steiner.
@Cahendr10@mysticinthemoon I’m not looking to volley in an ideological standoff, but it’s important to note how critical she is of religious orthodoxy, including the Catholic Church, in regards to the phenomena. She criticizes them as being simplistic and reductionist in their “it’s all demons!” alarmism.
@l364l153r44@Trad_West_Art Having had experiences I would say it is inescapably frightening and very humbling. It doesn’t really help the rational part of you, either; it only confounds it. The body knows it, though, and you never forget it or question it.
