@BillieJeanKing Returning Sports Media from the dumbed-down, barstool, water-cooler-yak, drunk-uncle-myopia, self-aggrandizing levels and platforms is the 1st challenge. Next is to honestly and openly LOOK at the People, preparation and structures in Women's Sport - even HOW things are shown

@Liambroady EVERYONE IN THE WORLD: Waiting for the Balloon to move or some other grand spectacle...
PARIS: Garçon! L'addition, s'il vous plaît.

@Gael_Monfils @Gael_Monfils - So glad you Remembered! 😉
3yrs after such a dark time you're still producing some of your very Best runs and achievements. Keep staying in the moment

[R V Clarke @VEECEE2509]

@Gael_Monfils Just. Remember. Who. You. Are.
From Talent, Promise and Dreamer to Achiever.
From Joy and Love with the Fans to the Love and Respect of your Peers. Because of it you can't consider failure - and with all this in your heart and mind there's still so much more to look forward to

@HaterReport_ @TheDunkCentral @Ourand_Puck "Iconic" can stand: He may be considered a bastion and even idol of a very particular type of expression, relation and manner of behaviour and form of "entertainment", but by NO means does it / he define any "Generation" or stand as a key Element of (even) his own

[R V Clarke @VEECEE2509]

@RobKoenigTennis Interesting that these many years later and on the doorstep of another Olympic Games, this image was posted by the Magnificent "Miss Shelly-Ann". So timely in such overly material and vapid times and where we'll be seeing the end of such a stellar era in Sport.

@krishna57606041 @GeoffreyBoycott @HankandGinger @FairfieldBooks_ @NightwatchmanXI @theoldbatsman ...AND the Most Significant Voice and Source in the Game.

@darren_cahill @rolandgarros I honestly believe her success helped cement Martina's resolve to choose aggression. King & Goolagong were unicorns, but Ruzici simplified attack by getting close to the ball/bounce and committing to something other than the rally - Taking time away from the classic strokeplayer

[R V Clarke @VEECEE2509]

@alizecornet @CaroGarcia @BorjaDuran @tennisinsidercl She got 3 phases out of a Career many wouldnt have expected for her personally, or a Player of her kind and that's to be admired. I hope she's keen to be involved in Player Development or WTour Representation of some kind because her own path and directness can be assets to both.

[R V Clarke @VEECEE2509]

@alizecornet @CaroGarcia @BorjaDuran @tennisinsidercl After taking that as far as she could and then becoming "old guard" and set back by injury, she reinvented herself by committing to improving tremendously physically and enjoying a revival when others would've either quit or continue to slide.

[R V Clarke @VEECEE2509]

@gregariousone_ @BastienFachan Throughout match there's swirls and intensities of thoughts/feelings and everything's right at skin level. Once it's over the occasion flows out and given the situation it could be ages b4 Rafa reaches the locker room or there's even access to him - the moment was there

[R V Clarke @VEECEE2509]

@RobKoenigTennis @enricomariariva picked up a snippet early in the broadcast relating to Agassi and his being (the) dominant player in that epic Class of the time - I dare to boldly state that Martin Blackman was the Best and most complete of that bunch, but sadly stands as a tale of unforeseen misfortune 😪

[R V Clarke @VEECEE2509]

@MattHarperUK @rakibehsan BRITAIN Historically built & thrived as THE Original & Most successful MC Society & Structure in History. 'Culture/Lifestyle' & 'Religion' can and shall have just respects and place, but specific Practice & Ritual etc. must/should satisfy a Land's structure of Rights & Laws.

[R V Clarke @VEECEE2509]

@MattHarperUK @rakibehsan The Problem is that simply originating in and observing/practicing aspects of any given Culture, does NOT mean ALL/Every kind is to be accepted/tolerated and allowed to run contrarily in Countries/places/societies where distinct, indiscriminate* Laws exist and justly serve.

[R V Clarke @VEECEE2509]

@TheTennisLetter @darren_cahill tandem with Jannik perhaps? 😬Amazes how many ppl don't understand this isn't like a Manager/sponsor. Coaching, even without specific instruction and retooling mechanics alters preparation/processing dynamics affecting performance. The means/timing were oddly cruel

[R V Clarke @VEECEE2509]

@atptour @AlexeiPopyrin99 @CincyTennis @dunloptennis getting that ol' feeling again! 😉@maxpurcell98

@Steph_Simmons89 Success...?

[R V Clarke @VEECEE2509]

@WendellGeorgie @JohnnyResendiz5 They've gone to immense lengths to cater to and immediately reflect the audiences they crave and kick the numbers along. Incitement and Barstool-level interaction and "humor" - the network as a Live Chatroom and missile launcher for base level banter.
