its so heartbreaking to see society slowly starting to forget about palestine when the war crimes happening to them right now are the same as the ones that were happening last year. there’s just less coverage about it because they killed all the press.
The Srebrenica genocide is one of the darkest pages of European history.
In July 1995, 30 years ago, thousands of men and boys were murdered solely because of their ethnicity and religion.
Let us remember and learn from it.
#NeverForget
Every year, Bosnians, many of them being Srebrenica genocide survivors, participate in the Peace March on the same trails where many Bosnians tried to escape the mass killings in 1995. Today is the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide. The world once again bears witness to genocide, this time in Gaza. Different lands, same silence, same targeted slaughter of a people for who they are and the land they are on.
if i have any budapest moots can u tell me how much of the monuments are under construction bc i heard that people's square is and i'm thinking should i go or no
I just saw a video of someone saying “going to my big girl job with my little girl sorrow” and that shook me to the core, one direction is the a part of attachment we have to our younger selves and probably why this feels so personal
I don’t think I really recognized how much of that teenage girl living inside of me still held on to one direction as a safety and a comfort until now .
the amount of likes on their posts in under 24 hours…they really were one of the biggest boy bands to ever exist and they touched the hearts and changed the lives of SO many people, idk if we’ll ever be able to wrap our heads around how big of a deal losing one of them is
