In solidarity with victims of the Mar Elias Church bombing in Syria.
Since 2003, minorities across the Middle East have faced terror, genocide, & betrayal.
We demand protection, justice, and the right to live with dignity in our homelands.
We will gain our #SelfDetermination
A Saudi fighter in HTS led by Jolani openly admitted: We have Ezidi captives. “I was offered a Ezidi slave girl." Slavery includes Ezidi, Alawites & Christians based on fatwas.
Hundreds of Ezidi women remain enslaved in Syria & Arab countries—while the world stays silent!
One story of thousands from the ongoing Alawite genocide in Syria: A mother stood before the killers of her sons, said, “May the Lord never forgive you”
The criminals of new Syrian regime murdered her children, declaring, ‘We will kill all Alawites.
This is NOT an isolated incident. Since Ezidi Genocide recognition, attacks continue. Justice without protection is meaningless. #EzidiGenocide#ProtectEzidis
An Ezidi asylum seeker in the Netherlands was brutally attacked in his room near Breda, tortured and forced to convert & told "We are allowed to kill you because you are an Infidel” because he is Ezidis. Extremists stole his belongings.
My new article detaling the role of Masoud Barzani and the KDP in the massacre of Yezidis in the towns of Tel Ezer and Siba Sheikh Khidr in 2007.
Four massive truck bombs targeted the Yezidi towns in Sinjar in northwest Iraq, killing over 800.

We are glad to receive this essential decision of recognition, a significant milestone in the pursuit of justice, accountability for the crimes committed by ISIS and it’s complicit actors.
Thanks @spschweiz for all your efforts and support!
A German MP has made a statement acknowledging that Yazidis were "abandoned" when the #YazidiGenocide took place in 2014. Though the comment could be more explicit, it nevertheless refers to the Peshmerga withdrawal, which allowed the Genocide to take place. As such, it is a welcome statement.
MP Helge Lindh @helgelindh who belongs to the party of German Chancellor Scholz @Bundeskanzler provided this statement to Voice of Ezidis @VEzidis on Aug. 31, 2024.
It is vital that more politicians and officials follow Lindh's example and exercise their backbone in speaking to the realities of what befell—and still afflicts—the #Yazidis.
My full speech in front of the German Parliament building is now live on YouTube: A retrospective on 10 years of the #YazidiGenocide underscoring that Co-Perpetrators must have no role in the solution. Hosted by @VEzidis & VETO-G Camp:

Discussed the #Ezidi cause with delegation led by @ShRFarhad in run-up to 10th commemoration of unspeakable atrocities committed by Islamic State (Da’esh). The Netherlands will initiate establishment of international tribunal to try crimes committed by IS (Da’esh). @DutchMFA
Ten years on after the genocide, displaced Ezidi survivors have little prospect of safely returning to #Iraq.
Our new joint report from @YaelSchacher & @ShRFarhad @VEzidis outlines clear ways the EU & member states can unite and integrate #Ezidi families.

“Far too often, private entities have escaped responsibility for fueling conflicts around the world, and victims have struggled to receive compensation for the violence that followed, even genocidal violence. This can change only if all those complicit in international crimes are brought to justice for their roles in the atrocities — including through cases, like this one, that are filed by their victims.”
