Prop 5/Article 22 goes way too far.
Help us spread the word before election day, and if you live in #VT make a plan to vote NO on November 8th or via mail-in ballot.

@AustinDavisVT @SamDonnellyVT Planned Parenthood had a vested financial interest in Prop 5 passing, so not very objective. However that being said, we and many Vermonters like you would be fine debating the issues any time it's convenient.
@AustinDavisVT @SamDonnellyVT We aren't hyper fixated on anything. Anne already filmed the segment in question. Anne would be happy to debate her in a public, longer form environment as well.
The question all VT voters should have though, is why will no legislators debate Anne?
@AustinDavisVT @SamDonnellyVT It's because we agree with you. We've been trying to set up a debate for months. Rep. Anne Donahue was vocal on the House floor, and will debate other legislators now. All have backed out. Why are they hiding?
@SamDonnellyVT Every legislator we have invited to debate this issue has backed out. Lucy is a paid Planned Parenthood employee, who did not vote on Prop 5. Find us ANY legislator willing to support Article 22 in front of a camera and we'll be there.
NEW: @VFTCG continue to lie to VTers.
They claim that authors or supporters of Prop 5 won't come to an NBC5 "debate" airing this Sun.
This is a lie.
Lucy Leriche, one of the original legislators supporting the amdmt. & a member of the RLA team will be on that NBC5 segment.
"If Roe v. Wade is overturned, Carter predicts more patients from the West, Midwest, and South will travel to Vermont for abortions."

Vote NO.
"Do you anticipate there will be an uptick in abortion circumvention tourism?"
Jared Carter: I think that’s likely here in Vermont, particularly because New Hampshire, a bordering state, recently passed restrictions on abortion after 24 weeks.

There are some 12,000 third-trimester abortions across the country now, and according to the Guttmacher Institute, the majority are for social reasons, not medical ones.
Twist words all you want Sam, the facts don't lie.

Also the term "late term abortion" is a made up, political term. Ask any doctor or physician. The correct term would be "delivery". Either way, Vermonters for "Good" Government continues to lie and mislead Vermonters.
How many will happen in VT if #Prop5 passes? That's the question all #VT voters need to ask. 90% of Americans oppose unregulated late term abortion, according to Harvard/Harris poll. That's exactly what #Article22 will permanently enshrine in the Constitution.
"It is a fact that Proposal 5/Article 22 would prohibit (by making it unconstitutional) the legislature from passing any laws that regulate or restrict abortion at any point during pregnancy...."

As the survivor of a failed late-term, saline infusion abortion at 31 weeks of gestation (that’s nearly eight months along) it makes me physically ill that Vermont could become an abortion tourism destination
