@NateGeraci@ForTheWynn_ My guess is that they view everything outside of BTC/ETH as much harder to sell. Differentiating between eth sol xrp tron etc is hard for an RIA To that I think they launch a basket index fund which will keep them firmly in the #1 spot. Plus that’s likely a higher margin ETF
@NateGeraci Is it possible that ssga never entered b/c they’re technically a bank and the old sec or fed told them no? And now as bank restrictions eased, they feel it’s too late. They seemingly have interested as they launched a few crypto equity funds. Idk my tinfoil hat is on
I don’t understand why @dfinity hasn’t played the ETF game with asset managers in the US. Many foundations are working with assets managers to get their respective tokens live in either a trust or ETF structure. It helps a lot with visibility and trust. @dominic_w
@AltcoinBale This is more incorrect reporting. The SEC proposed dates are not dates of listing. I’d suspect they delay it even further since the CME xrp futures aren’t even live
@defi_mochi@wintermute_t@MANTRA_Chain This is pure manipulation and not market making. Look at the volumes across exchanges. Most is on binance and bybit and 30% is owned by the top 10 holders. Those exchanges and insiders are doing this. Same issue (but even worse) on $MNT
@vincent_vancode How is it different than using stable coins on SOL or ETH? Serious question, not bear posting. And why banks choose to settle to a highly volatile token, XRP?
