During today’s CHINA GT Shanghai race there was a serious crash at Turn 14 that left a car on fire. The race was stopped and rescue teams weren't fast enough in a situation that involved a car on fire.

Phantom Global driver Loek Hartog (car #79), who was nearby and not involved in the incident, stopped and was the first person who assisted Ollie Millroy and subsequently removed the injured driver from the wreck.

After that, he went back to his car and to Phatom Global garage utterly devastated and crying nonstop. While pulling Ollie Millroy free from the blaze, Hartog also sustained minor injuries to his hands. Additionally, he inhaled large amounts of fumes that lead to a discomfort in his lungs.

Ollie Millroy sustained considerably injuries and was taken to the nearwst trauma center. A formal statement regarding his condition has yet to be released.
