Can’t express how proud I am of Ryan Guiry (#8) as he’s committed/signed to play collegiate baseball at Bryant and Stratton. I could shower Ryan with compliments but I’ll keep it short. I can only hope that one day my sons grow up to be like him. Congrats 8 you deserve it

No matter the score I’ll NEVER stop a kid from tagging on a pop fly. That’s basic baseball. You can’t stop doing that. Just my thoughts. Feel free to bash me - I’m used to it

Here’s my quick take on the whole Tatis Jr thing ...... if coach gave the take sign ...... then what else is there to discuss?

As far as the scoring up 7? It’s dependent on the situation. MLB balls are juiced and teams can score at will. Don’t like it?

It’s easy. There’s a top price and a bottom piece. We 3D print those and then the plastic shield will be added. My friend and former student John McNally started this and I offered to assist. He is an amazing person. So glad to help. John has been donating locally

I’ve put my 3D printer to good use. Between another tech teacher at another school, a current student and a colleague at VHS we are asking if there is anyone that has a 3D printer that is willing to print parts for face shields. I will send files. All you do is print HELP

Today is the first HS Baseball opening day that I will miss since I started coaching at Voorheesville since 2004. I miss baseball. But I miss my players more. More than I can express. Love you guys. Heads up!

As a coach in Section 2 I want to say that I fully support the decision made by @NYSPHSAA and @RobertZayasNY obviously this is crushing to our athletes. But it’s a needed precautionary step. Let’s use this as a chance to teach our kids that life supersedes sports
