@Mrs_complaints @VIBesSymposium@Kat_Arney It was quite inspiring! I love to hear about different experiences in science, it opens up our world. Oh and the British accent 🤩
I had a lovely time at #vibes2020 by @VIBesSymposium. The conference is condensed into 2 days which was a responsible decision considering the situation. However, nice to be back in Leuven and to present our epic upcoming Isala project @Isala_UAntwerp@UAntwerpen@ENdEMIC_group
Amazing talk by science communicator and author @Kat_Arney about how she left science but didn’t really leave. Science is not just academics or industry, it’s a lifestyle 🙌 #VIBes2020@VIBesSymposium#WomenInScience
Considering the measures to restrict the spread of COVID-19, the 3-day #VIBes2020 meeting is condensed into 2 days. We focus solely on science & are canceling other social events. We urge attendees to respect COVID-19 measures conveyed earlier & extra measures taken onsite.
Very nice talk of @KarenStroobants in the #VIBes2020 around Responsible Research and Innovation and #researchculture. Also thanks, Karen, for not mentioning Itally and Coronavirus issue, the only one till now.
Great talk @VIBesSymposium by @KarenStroobants about responsible research and open science! Hopefully we’ll see some positive changes in research culture soon!
@VIBesSymposium lessons today: 'If you care about research, you should also care about the research culture'♻️ @MetisTalk and 'Welcome to the real world; academia is the start of your career'✔️
On my way to Leuven, the great Uni city where I spent a good 9 years doing my BSc, MSc, PhD 👩🔬- to talk about research culture and how VIBes attendees can help to improve it! See you soon 👋
