Under its CSR initiative, POWERGRID handed over the POWERGRID War Heroes Gallery to the Indian Army at the War Museum & Pahadi Culture Centre, Tangdhar, Kupwara, near the Line of Control in Jammu & Kashmir.

The gallery was formally handed over by Shri Tarun Bajaj, ED, Northern Region-II, in the presence of Shri A. H. Khan, CGM (Kashmir), senior officials of POWERGRID and representatives of the Indian Army.

The gallery showcases the military heritage and strategic significance of the Tangdhar region and pays tribute to the valour and supreme sacrifices of soldiers who defended the nation.

The initiative reflects POWERGRID’s commitment to community development, preservation of national heritage and honouring the spirit of patriotism.
