I have a question about the Apollo 11 patch:

I noticed, that the mural inside the Rotunda of the Capitol looks incredibly similar to the mission patch. However, the artist’s signature indicates it was made in 1953.

Was there any connection or inspiration?

@Orbital_Perigee @cosmictylxr @BambulabGlobal I work with P1Ss and have a P2S at home, the only problem I had was me being stupid and scrapping the plate using manual controls without homing.
I feel like reliability on the P2S is better but after some TLC for the P1Ss they run great too.
So display and AMS 2 Pro does it.

@mcrs987 So it is just some thermal isolation blanket that looks like it's between the tiles, gotchu.
I was asking more about gap filler, but I completely forgot about the fact that the tiles seal up during reentry because of the heating.
