@CultivateElevat My husband's astigmatism bettered over time & no longer needs glasses (He didn't need glasses for "bad" eyesight. He had 12/15 with double vision in 1 eye. Now has 19/20 with no double vision). Also, my uncle threw away his glasses in HS & his eyesight got better naturally.

@RyanMoyerPhD @DrCamiloOrtiz So he has consequences at school too & home eventually. Thankfully he aces tests/homework. He prides himself on getting straight A's, but sometimes doesn't happen because he can't always stay on task/or do stuff on time. He gets slightly better as he gets older. 2/2

@RyanMoyerPhD @DrCamiloOrtiz I have this issue with my son. Like a sliding scale, as he gets older, we back off more & more. But he also has consequences at home for late assignments/projects. But we don't check every day now, probably only weekly to give him a chance to correct it on his own. 1/2

@DrCamiloOrtiz Right! Although, not sure if it's bad to ask an opinion on a restaurant once in a while (not that we eat out much). I also ask them to each plan/pick 1 meal idea for a dinner for us to make each week (because I plan the majority otherwise). Has to be well rounded, not junk.
