@zig131@xNanochip To add to that how the hell is it going to track when there's emf perturbations such at ac lines or rebar in a floor ? LH suffers from occlusion and reflection like cameras but magnetic calibration, unless you 0 close enough to isolate external factors, it's not gonna work good
@zig131@xNanochip Thanks for the clarification but it still kinda leaves me odd bc magnetic fields have a logarithmic falloff and since there's only one anchor at the hip that is also anchored to the head, it adds 2 layers of uncertainty to the limb position compared to none with external anchors
@RaelJamsesh I mean why advertise the ability to play flat screen games in VR where the whole sale point is to advertise to play with a bigger "virtual screen" than what you already have (mind you with more noticeable screen door effect bc most tv rn are at 4k for 65")
@parzvrc I'm keeping my index for as long as I can, the lack of LH supports, lackluster passthrough (non color), medium resolution. The only selling point for me is the wireless and standalone which sure can be nice but c'mon valve, this is 2026 not 2022
The stigma we have is not because we are weird, it's because we either try to hide obvious stuff or we justify its existence and try to validate niche stuff to a degree that is disgusting. And y'all are either craving attention or control over something or someone that's not you.
