The person I responded to suggested using a credit card in place of a debit card.
So that's why I said "just put all your regular expenditure on a credit card"

You may be making it work for you, but
"Just put all your regular expenditure on a credit card" is going to be bad advice for the majority of people

In the short term it feels like you have "gained" a month's wage, but then when you actually want to make a big purchase on credit, you don't have the credit left to cover it.
Or worse you overspend, and can't pay your bill.

What I mean is the Rift CV1 headset acts as a wireless adaptor for your computer to talk to the Touch Controllers.

Even if you just want to use the controllers (as controllers or for FBT) you currently still need the Rift HMD plugged in.

Wild for Bigscreen to spin-up production of a product just for a few more countries to have easier access.

There is probably good reason those countries are not served, and Bigscreen would face the same problems.

They have no integrated tracking, so you put a Tundra tracker on to make them Lighthhouse tracked, and could put a theoretical Frame tracker (IMU+Infra-Red LEDs) on them to make them Frame tracked.

They are not magically going to be able to sell them cheaper 🤨

This way, Bigscreen can focus on the HMD side of things.

@YouUnculturedS @2Pish181332 Knuckles have an absolutely terrible record for durability, and the lack of a standard grip button can be problematic.

I got GripVR to pair with my Beyond 2 and they work great.

Of course time will tell if they are more durable.

@ReverseMyLife @dtupper Yeah I got 4 for my Beyond 2 when they were still being sold from Steam.

The way I see it, as/when one dies I can make do with 3 for a bit, and then grab one from HTC when they are next reduced

They still sell trackers+wands, and support B2B, so they'll be available for a while

HTC have to make ~all thier profit on hardware.

That said, HTC actually run sales on thier hardware, so if that price is too steep for you, wait until Black Friday.

@OverclockersUK The most compelling benefit of HDDs to me, is the way they die.

I have seen SSDs go straight from acessible, to inacessible.

HDDs do not go quietly into the night. They get slower, and louder, maybe corrupt a few files.
You can notice and move data off before it's too late.

We already have a bunch of options for Micro OLED Standalones.

What we need is a Micro OLED PCVR Headset from someone other than Pimax.

Or better yet High Density OLED on Glass+Fresnel
