This tractor trailer unit entered the Vancouver Port to pick up a container. Both front tires had cord exposed, and a leaking brake pod. Also, a brake out of adjustment and three axles with loose rims likely from worn bearings. Ticket issued, truck placed out of service and the trailer was issued a box 1. It was towed and must have a full inspection and repairs completed before it can be used again. #WeAreOutThere #DriveSafe

The #VPD is proud to partner with the Driven Project and the BC Lions today as we escort a convoy of supercars through the city, carrying some very special passengers.

The Driven Project is a non-profit organization that gives critically ill children the chance to experience the thrill of riding in a supercar. For a day, they can leave their reality behind, enjoy an unforgettable adventure, and simply be kids.

We’re honoured to help make this special day happen for some very important VIPs!
