Our amazing Volunteer Patrol team hit the streets this week, sharing winter care packages with those in need — cozy toques, gloves, socks & scarves to spread warmth and kindness.
Huge thanks to @LotusLightCharity for their support! 💙

Wishing everyone a #HappyNewYear & all the best in 2025! My heartfelt thanks to all our #VPD officers, civilian professionals & other #1stResponders working tonight who did an excellent job keeping our city safe - it's an honour & privilege to serve our community! @VancouverPD
Today #VPD was out in Vancouver’s #DTES to take part in the 33rd annual #WomensMemorialMarch. February 14 is a day to honour and remember those missing and murdered, and to reflect on the resiliency within our Indigenous communities.
Kung Hei Fat Choi! Despite the snow, our CPC Parade Team proudly marched in the Chinatown Spring Festival Parade. After the parade, we gathered for a celebration luncheon to appreciate our CPC volunteers and VPD partner. Wishing everyone a joyful & prosperous Year of the Snake!🐍
Did you know that the City of Vancouver has 12 CPCs? If you're curious to know what CPC is there to serve you, check out this map->https://t.co/0sHrPfM5nd During our orientation we make sure new volunteers are well informed on the boundaries of our operations. @VancouverPD
"I want to thank BC Housing for believing in us and supporting this neighbourhood #youthprogram. Our mission is to make this #neighbourhood a safer, and more livable place through #communityengagement and involvement." - Dan Turvill, Executive Director of @StrathCPC
If you would like to file a report with the #VPD, please visit https://t.co/7a6enmfnhI for your reporting options. As always, call 9-1-1 in an emergency.
We were thrilled to join @strathcpc for the Lotus Light Community Caring Day on July 20! We distributed hot lunch, food and personal care items to those in need in the Downtown Eastside. It was an honour to be part of this meaningful event and spread love in the community.❤️
We are excited to participate in the new #DecalProject initiated by the @BCPoliceChiefs alongside @VancouverPD. Placing these decals on a home or car will alert first responders that they may encounter an individual with autism or neurodiversity.
Visit VPD or any CPC to grab one!
