Small businesses are essential to a thriving community. That’s why we’re creating new funding to support businesses to cover the costs of repairing & preventing vandalism to their establishment. This $10.5M fund is just one way we are taking action to support BC Small Businesses.
In response to our work with govt, BIABC is pleased the Province has responded to our urgent calls to address rampant crime and vandalism impacting communities across BC with the $10.5 million Securing Small Business Rebate Program.

Thanks @StrathconaBIA for the story about @604Records. This 'hood has played such an ongoing yet changing role in my life. As a drug addict, i came here for drugs. As a poverty lawyer, my refugee & criminal clients were here. Now, my record company is here https://t.co/VbYxZVoWv0
Thanks to everyone at @StrathconaBIA in Railtown for the tour today. We saw a new, mixed-use building on Railway Ave. with a grand atrium, and views of the city & port, plus watched @boccidesign create beautiful lights from molten glass, and enjoyed a 🤤 meal at @BelgardKitchen.
Thx for the great tour in Railtown organized by @StrathconaBIA & @VincentKwan!
Very impressive mixed-used building, amazing food & drink @BelgardKitchen. Eye opening experience at @boccidesign. Thx for putting Vancouver on the map! Support our local business! #MadeInVancouver
Many thanks to @LisaDominato@PeterMeiszner@LennyNanZhou@PtFry@christineeboyle for being a part of the Strathcona walking tour today & exploring important topics around industrial lands, retail, & having a safe + stable environment for business + investment in our community
We’re so devastated to see some of our Strathcona members displaced yet again because of a building fire.
Times like these we need to wrap our community members in support wherever we can. Sending ♥️ to all of the businesses affected.
