स्वर्गीय विलासराव देशमुख हे अजातशत्रू व्यक्तिमत्व होते. मी स्वतः अनेक वर्ष त्यांच्यासोबत मंत्रिमंडळात काम केले आहे. त्यामुळे विलासराव देशमुखांची लोकप्रियता ही फक्त लातूरच्या नाही तर महाराष्ट्राच्या मनावर कोरली गेली आहे, ती अशी सहजासहजी पुसली जाणार नाही.
