Women & girls living with disability face specific risks and additional forms of violence – sometimes from their caregivers, incl.:
🔸 Coercive and controlling behaviours
🔸 Neglect and withholding of medicines, assistive devices or other aspects of care
🔸 Financial abuse
🔸 Forced sterilization

Perpetrators may take steps to increase isolation and make it more difficult for them to access support.
