@Ruenaan I was on for a hour didn’t run into 1 bob. Was honestly shocked because usually the game is flooded with DLC when their released.

My early thoughts about Bob and without getting in depth about his weaknesses or strengths for now, that will be for us to discover when he is out in 10 hours from now:

• He is by far the only returning character who truly stays faithful to his identity. He focuses on pokes, mix-ups, and strong mids, and removing the i15 launcher that was added much later in Tekken 7’s lifespan shows that the team understands what makes him unique. It makes me hopeful that future returning characters will also stay true to what they are. No new stances or running moves, his mains will feel right at home when they pick him up while still having plenty of new stuff to keep him fresh. His opponents will also fight him the same way (SSR duck, play him from range 2 and backdash a lot of his pokes etc..)

• He has one of the best punishment in the game from 10 - 14 frames both standing and ws

• The biggest change is to the buffs he got over his CH kit, he has it all. A heat engager g-clef, i13 magic 4 and a mid long range CH launcher which is -9 oB

• His pokes are as good as in previous games, which makes him a character that fits the poke character archetype missing in the game, while still having plenty of damage to not fall behind

• His combo damage is above average in the open, he can reach 80+ from almost all his launchers, 90+ from CD2 without CH, rage or heat. It makes up for the fact he has no fast launchers besides his JF CD1 which come off 16 frames

I overall think his mains will love him, the amount of care they put into him can be seen and they were careful to not change him too much like they did with Eddy, Anna or Heihachi.
