@SreeramRamdas@skiy7@airindia Comparing a 787-9 to an A320neo is dumb. Different upholstery doesn’t make it a different seat. The new material is way more comfortable. Travel it, experience it and then talk shit. I’ve flown it so that is what my opinion is. If you don’t know how it is, don’t talk about it.

@SreeramRamdas@skiy7@airindia In service I wholly agree with your statement and with the boarding music but please research or be up to date with the latest.
@SreeramRamdas@skiy7@airindia Just saying, Air India and Vistara have the same seats on their A320neos, so you’re either calling yourself —to be kind— an uninformed person or thinking about the old A319/A320/A321ceos.
@tejas_mk1a@SJot6z It is quite possible to be delivered in the next few days since even Campbell Wilson said in an interview they are expecting a brand new 787-9 this weekend.
@KaptainPetrovs@LloydMathias Rebranding a merged fleet isn’t easy. It takes years, heavy maintenance and billions in investment. Also, Christoph Mueller isn’t exactly waiting around to become Air India’s CEO; he’s long moved on from executive airline roles and now serves in non-executive board positions.
@NeelavBarman@saikatdas_ixa@AviationAll_ We only have information till LN1353 which is VT-AWE, we will only get to know by the end of the year about 2027 deliveries.
@NeelavBarman@saikatdas_ixa@AviationAll_ From what I know is that they are still waiting for seats but both of them will be delivered before the end of the year probably by September/October.
@saikatdas_ixa@AviationAll_ Yes, there is a high chance of seeing VT-AWE/LN1353 but since it here is a gap of 33 numbers it will probably be delivered 2026 end or Q1 2027
@airindia
I really love Air India and hope the best for you. However, I am currently in the lounge which is excellent but the service is poor. I wanted to order eggs but was informed that live counters are not accepting orders due to a buffet.

I also believe that the minor issues that are often overlooked are significant. For example, there was lipstick on the seat controls and a worn out belt on my flight yesterday. I hope these problems are addressed and Air India can regain its former reputation. Thank you.
My question was, isn’t the buffet available throughout the day. There are no breakfast options at 10:45 am and the eggs, which many people eat for breakfast, are not available. I flew in from Singapore yesterday and the SIA lounge was great with options for all meals.
