Dominic Thomas appearing as sole counsel has secured the acquittal of a 15 year old client in first new murder trial post lockdown. The defendant was found not guilty of charges of murder and manslaughter before being released. The case concerned a stabbing.

Success in the Court of Appeal for Vida Simpeh: The Court quashed a conviction for perverting the course of justice on the grounds that the judge's ruling to admit evidence was wrong in law and the defendant did not have a fair trial due to the judge's interventions.
