This case study by Nimruji Jammulamadaka, Chayanika Bhayana, and Varshita Siripuru explores the personal narratives of three individuals—Darshan, Rhea, and Raja—tracing their journeys from childhood to adulthood. Through their lived experiences across family, school, college, and workplace contexts, the case highlights how distinct behavioral patterns evolve over time.

By examining these narratives, the case enables learners to develop a deeper understanding of how personality is shaped by experiences and contextual influences, and how it manifests in interpersonal relationships and managerial behavior in professional settings.

Learning objectives:

1) To understand how different personality traits are manifested through varied behavioral patterns.
2) To appreciate the role of context, especially experiences, in shaping individual personality.
3) To reflect upon and make sense of one’s own behavioral patterns.
4) To understand how personality characteristics influence managerial behaviors and tendencies.

The case fits within the course structure of ‘Organizational Behavior’ and ‘Human Resource Management’, and is suitable for graduate-level programmes as well as executive education, with a focus on personality, self-awareness, and managerial behavior.
