@AdityaTodmal more reasons why the idea is not feasible. Although, i understand the feeling why you are asking and I also feel after decades, there will be need to introduce tax on farming but that is too far-fetched. Right now, with declining profit margins, no tax is the only incentive

@AdityaTodmal Farming is anyway not that lucrative business, just check the cost of inputs like fertilisers, labour, pesticides, tractor etc. And all of that keeps changing. On top of it, most of farmers in rural areas are not literate enough to calculate their actual profits. There are many
