@IndianaBrunner Before Christ, the Jews sacrificed lambs on the altar as they did at Passover. Now in the New covenant we celebrate that Jesus is the Lamb that was slain. And as commanded in the New testament, we memorialize his sacrifice in the celebration of the Lord's supper.
