Since Tucker Carlson made that comment about India not having built a genuinely good looking building since independence (true until then btw) we have built so many good airports, possibly some of the best looking airports in the world.
Tomorrow, 4th July, is a very special day for the people of Jodhpur. The New Terminal Building of Jodhpur Airport will be inaugurated. Jodhpur has a very important place as far as tourism in India is concerned. This upgraded infrastructure will encourage more tourists to come to Jodhpur. It will boost commerce as well.
#AlphaReview - ⭐️ ( 1 Star )
#Alpha is a CRINGE FEST that puts the final nail in the coffin of the Spy Universe.
YRF and its writers have done it yet again. Just like the previous films in the Spy Universe, they’ve once again made an Indian Army officer the primary antagonist who turns rogue against the nation but this time they gave it a terrible twist inspired from Hamza Ali Mazari (Revealed before the climax )
This time, #BobbyDeol plays that officer, the creator of the “Alpha” super-soldier program. After the Indian Army shuts the project down, he continues running it illegally. Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s characters are also products of the same Alpha program, giving them abilities that resemble a “Spider-Sense and other powers copied from multiple Hollywood flicks .”
The story is so illogical and absurd that as the film progresses, it makes you feel angry, irritated, amused, frustrated, and completely bewildered all at the same time.
#AliaBhatt, whom I consider one of the finest actresses of our generation, should seriously take an oath never to do another action film. It simply doesn’t suit her. Watching her single-handedly overpower 10–20 men who are over six feet tall is impossible to believe. She neither has the physical presence nor the raw intensity that such a character demands.
As for Sharvari, it feels like more attention was paid to her makeup than to the choreography of her action sequences.
The story is written by Uday Chopra, while the screenplay is by Sridhar Raghavan and Soumil Shukla. Believe me, they’ve managed to surpass even #War2 and #Tiger3 in delivering one of the weakest and most nonsensical scripts in the Spy Universe.
Comparing Alpha with the #Dhurandhar series would be a crime. Its real comparison should be with films like Naam Shabana, Akira, and Dhaakad and even by those standards, Alpha comes across as the weakest of the lot.
Bobby Deol’s character is disappointingly underwritten, and his mixed Haryanvi-Rajasthani accent fails to leave any impact. Anil Kapoor is a terrific actor, but he feels completely out of place in this universe.
Patriotism is virtually nonexistent in the film. Hrithik Roshan’s cameo is the only aspect that is genuinely worth watching.
Shiv Rawail’s direction lacks impact, but it’s hard to blame him entirely. When the writing is this poor, there’s only so much a director can do.
Overall, Alpha is a very poor film. It lacks thrill, substance, and even the kind of action that audiences can genuinely enjoy.
Watch it at your own risk.
My my my… this @ARanganathan72 stripping of @BBCWorld is classic. Will go down as one of his best that #BBC should frame & present to its trainees. 🤓
@Tushar15 At this point there is an Olympic level competition going on between the opposition to decide who is the real Dhurandhar AKA Hamza Ali Mazari AKA Jaskirat Singh Rangi
@kushal_mehra@NonsensicalNemo@sreemoytalukdar@TweetinderKaul It is an Offside as the Croatian was definitely offside, the confusion stems from whether the Portuguese defender who was trying to duck touched the ball. It probably grazed him but the ref decided it was unintentional so ruled it Offside

To love India, we have to shift our cognitive lens away from the simple, clean eqns of Euclidean Geometry (where everything fits into neat straight lines) & upgrade to the complex eqns of Fractals (where patterns emerge out of infinite, self-repeating chaos).
China built a beautifully engineered machine. India is a self-evolving, organic jungle. A machine is orderly until it breaks; a jungle is chaotic, but it never stops living.
Ancient India's strength was its modular decentralization. The central king (Chakravartin) rarely interfered with the local governance laws (Shreni-Dharma of merchant guilds/Grama-Sabhas of villages). Every community had its own unique operating system.
When Nooyi says "the beauty of India is in its chaos," she is instinctively recognizing that India's survival mechanism for 5000 yrs has been its ability to absorb, metabolize & integrate turbulence, rather than trying to sanitize it through forced, top-down uniformity.
In the Western mindset, "chaos" implies a total lack of structure/failure of a system. But in physics & mathematics, Chaos Theory proves that complex, seemingly random systems actually have deep, underlying patterns & feedback loops that are highly adaptive.
Ancient Indian thought, specifically Sankhya Darshana, formalized this exact reality through the interplay of 2 cosmic entities: Purusha & Prakriti.
China’s model is built on artificial Purusha: absolute, rigid, uniform order. India’s model is rooted in Prakriti: a living, breathing, non-linear ecosystem where 1000s of variables (languages, sub-cultures, independent decentralized units) interact simultaneously.
Prakriti looks chaotic from the outside, but it is highly resilient because a collapse in 1 node does not crash the entire network. Rigidly uniform systems are efficient in the short term, but they suffer from brittleness under unexpected systemic shocks.
Order requires single-variable compliance, whereas India operates on multivariable coexistence.
In ancient Indian epistemology, the Jain school perfected a highly sophisticated logical framework called Anekantavada (the doctrine of non-absolutism/manyness of reality). It states that reality is infinitely complex & has multiple facets (Ananta-dharmatmakam vastu). No single perspective can claim absolute monopoly over the entire system.
A homogenous society (like China) operates like a single-threaded software program. It executes commands seamlessly & cleanly because there are no competing logic loops. India operates like an massive, multi-threaded, open-source asynchronous protocol. It looks messy, it looks confusing & it lacks standard symmetry, but it allows completely contradictory truths, lifestyles & economic layers to occupy the exact same physical space w/o destroying 1 another. 🙏🙏
@TeamPunchEV@adityajakki Bro, I met people from Germany in Australia who were on sick leave for a month. They take career breaks every 2-3 years for 3-6 months
@ajayrotti What is clear from this is people from Kerala and AP shouldn't cry about their revenue being shard with northern states. TN too will soon lose that privilege. Biggest Blackpool here are Bihar and Bengal, they contribute only about 4.9% of the GST revenue 1/n
@ajayrotti While their combined share of population is about 18%. If you add AP to the mix, the other major eastern state by population, their combined revenue contribution is only ~7.5% while their population is ~22%. They show no signs of growth in the short term either.
