“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.”
Colossians 3:23-24
It’s not about what we do. It’s about how we do it and who we serve.
Worried, scared, discouraged, angry, and/or disturbed about the sin in our nation?
Proclaim the Gospel today.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes”
Romans 1:16
@CAHutch1990 Sorry for your loss. I’ve been encouraged reading on here about his faithfulness during his time. He seemed like an incredible man. Praying for you and your family. May the Lord be near.
Lt Governor @DelbertHosemann & Speaker of the House @PhilipGunnMS asked me to make a statement on the Mississippi flag. Here it is. https://t.co/4ArhmGrATS #TakeItDown
Helpful reminder for the week:
“There is a way that seems right to a man,
but it’s end is the way to death.”
Proverbs 14:12
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.”
Proverbs 3:5
We all want to look forward and move on. But we need to pray for the families & friends of those who cannot. Believers are not to overlook the suffering of others. Believers must look into the suffering and bring what they see to God and plea for help. Be a watchman. Isaiah 62:6
“Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you,
and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy on you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
blessed are those who wait for him.”
Turn from sin immediately, and hope in God indefinitely.
You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts you.
Trust in the Lord forever,
for the Lord God is an everlasting
rock.
Isaiah 26:3-4
"Even though its right and helpful to see sin and name it, it's a hundred times more important to see the Savior and name the beauty of the salvation he calls us to." @JohnPiper
