Dear @Discovery_SA
I’ve trusted you with my health for over 16 years, investing not just my trust but my money—no loans, no credit, just a genuine commitment to your services. Today, I am at the hospital, admitted with severe abdominal pain that’s almost unbearable.
Yet, I’ve been told that the hospital is still waiting for your approval before I can receive medication or any relief. I am left to endure the pain while waiting for approval.
Despite having comprehensive cover and choosing Discovery for my health and other financial needs, this experience is profoundly disappointing. Healthcare should never be delayed when it’s most needed.

I need some advice because what happened yesterday? Ha e kgonagale tlheng. ☹️
My twin brother was murdered *in broad daylight in front of witnesses.*
E le gore, does the family of a murdered person need their own lawyer? And what exactly is the prosecutor’s role in a criminal case?
On Saturday, 01/08/2026, a group of foreign nationals from Lesotho allegedly left their informal settlement, armed themselves, hired transport, travelled to my brother’s farm and brutally attacked and murdered him. They then returned to their settlement and continued with their lives as though they had just completed the most ordinary task.
Several people were involved, but only three were arrested on Wednesday (12/08/26) ,One of them escaped the police .
Yesterday , the three arrested men were granted a R1000 bail each. I attended the bail hearing.
The prosecutor said that because these men are legally in the country, their passports had been taken and the authorities know where they live, they would be granted bail.
The lawyer for the accused told me beforehand that the men appearing in court today were not the ones who pulled the trigger, “they just beat him up” According to him, the person of interest is the one who escaped , the person alleged to have fired the shots that killed my twin brother.
So vele… just like that?Is that how it works?
According to witnesses, These men were heavily armed, attacked him in their group before one of them fired the fatal shots.
Are we, as his family, supposed to have our own lawyer? Who represents our interests in all of this?
And what exactly is the prosecutor’s role? Are they only concerned with proving the case against the person who actually pulled the trigger, or are they also responsible for prosecuting everyone who participated in the events leading to the murder?
And then there is the driver. He apparently was not arrested because he allegedly said he did not know what these men intended to do when he transported them there. But he witnessed what happened and still transported them back afterwards.
Is this genuinely how the law works? 💔 💔
