@NFLosophy Teams need to be called out like this for using the cap as an excuse when it’s not, thank you for doing it! Eagles are the prime example of the cap not really being an impediment if you’re trying to win.
Why aren’t any of these at risk hospitals publishing their full accounting so everyone can see where they spend their money ?
All but one group of hospitals that I have looked at potentially investing in, spend so much on consultants and fees that it’s no wonder they are at risk
Plus, I have NEVER seen an industry that is worse than hospitals when it comes to buying medications and items like implants, screws, other devices. They overpay for everything.
And then when you show them how to save money, their “supply chain” employees resist any change.
They are so set in their ways, it’s a shock more don’t go out of business.
Prove me wrong.
@PhilSustainable Uhm … have you not heard of something called property taxes that fund local roads. So the suburban homeowner is paying for the parking.
@heyjaybird1@notacrankychef@SigmundBloom This is spot on 👆 … KC is historically a team that is lower in cash spending and hides behind the salary cap, when it is not really in the way.
@brianhgibson@Alex9620x@DraftVogel It’s not a perfect science and you have limited dart throws. When you pick high it’s much more valuable to team building to hit on premium positions. If you can guarantee the TE is significantly better then the WR or OT sure, but BPA led to Kyle Pitts over Chase and Sewell no?
@brianhgibson@Alex9620x@DraftVogel Would you rather have Jared Verse than Brock Bowers? The thinking is drafting isn’t a perfect science, at non premium positions the bar is higher because you can’t get a salary advantage unless they are all pro level.
@brianhgibson@Alex9620x@DraftVogel It’s much different outside of top ten bc of the difference in the fifth year option for top ten picks making it untenable at those positions.
I am also a Jets fan pre draft Jamal Adams was BPA when Pat Mahomes was in that draft. MHJ was generational, is Nabers better?
@brianhgibson@Alex9620x@DraftVogel With non-premium positions, only way to hit is all pro level which is hard. So even if just good, outside of who you passed on, it’s bad value contract wise and opportunity cost wise.
@brianhgibson@Alex9620x@DraftVogel Yes, but it’s easier when you have the results after. Kyle Pitts went over Ja’Marr Chase, Penei Sewell. Every year there are busts at every position. Aaron Curry in ‘09 analysts were saying he should go 1 over Stafford bc he was the safest prospect.
NEW: People are spending upwards of $60,000 on Super Bowl tickets.
World Cup tickets are going for as much as $230,000.

@brianhgibson@Alex9620x@DraftVogel So still valuable if he was great top guy makes $40m or lets round down $30m plus.
For those positions, he has to be great for you to break even and an all timer to get surplus value.
@brianhgibson@Alex9620x@DraftVogel It’s not just about busts … Kyle Pitts hurts even though he isn’t a bust. He cost them 5 yrs and 54m over the life of his rookie year deal. Top guy makes $19.1m.
Now if he was a WR, Christian Kirk 4 years $72m he’s still underpaid by being just good.
@Alex9620x@DraftVogel Jaylen Moore makes $15m a year now because he plays OT, George Kittle is the highest paid tight end at $19.1m. Getting a good OT/PassRusher/WR is more important and a good SAF/TE/LB
@Alex9620x@DraftVogel Problem is, when you take a TE, SAF or off ball LB that hight to break even they need to be all pro, which is a high bar. Pitts/Hockenson good examples. If they played D-End or WR they still provide surplus value, don’t at TE.
