@Kingdomeco75 It's a huge failing in writing, because they try to equate mutants to racism. But it doesn't work. There's no reason to be afraid of another racial group we're all just people. BUT an unstable teenager who can boil your blood with their mind if they're having a bad day? Yikes π
Hot Take #2 I've never cared for X-men aside from Wolverine. And I think it completely fails as a metaphor for prejudice. Because there are legitimate reasons to fear teenage mutants that can bend reality, or burn a city down if they get too emotional.
My Hot Take I don't care about IMAX. It's basically 4:3 so it doesn't feel cinematic to me. It feels like a giant TV from the 90s. The only bonus is the loud sound. But every movie used to be loud, they just turn them down in regular screens now to sell IMAX tickets. I don't care
@EStephenBurnett@gamedevfong I would still recommend watching the film first if you haven't seen it before. They reference elements of the film in the show. Plus it's a great movie to boot. The more Stargate the better! Prepare to take your first steps into a larger world.
@AmazonMGMStudio My brother is a massive #Stargate fan, owns the complete box set of each series and the films. He was going to get prime to watch this new show. Canceling a project because it respects continuity, source material, and fans...
Adrian Brody is a phenomenal actor & I've always thought he could play an amazing Joker. His role in The Village is a good example of him playing a deeply disturbed role. He also has a great sense of humor so his comedic timing would be flawless along with his dramatic moments.
