@twos6xes long term that means we'll have a long passer, with mainoo being the medium/short range with dribbling. Both managed under one of the best 6's. Top
@TelegraphDucker If we fail to sign Tchou or wharton then yeap, it's a disaster. Slapping 70m on the table early on for MF should have been the obvious solution- not ringing down the fee while dealing with mendes while PL prices skyrocket- the exact same thing happened with Mbeumo last season
@umirf1@alanrzepa Our plan for a while is to use the wingers to faciliatate- for madueke to gain space and rasfhord is doubled up or has AWB to deal with. It's inevitable he'd be the one with the most space. But what has he created?
@PaddyKeoghAF It's a difference in scenarios, they desperately need to climb out of the bottom 5, and we need to maintain CL football. Our squad desperately needs multiple profiles, we can't splurge on a player that much, without knowing if his impact is CL level
@fuadyabz23 It's not about that, someone like wharton has a higher pedigree and is worth the money, same for tchou. We'd be spending 85m on a starter who's never played in Europe consistently or been to finals consistently.
Even if wharton, tchou cost more their value is higher.
@ahtalksfutbol Think it's also to do at the dynamism of players like him and r9, moving at different angles and constantly switching your speed adds stress on your ligaments.
@PaddyKeoghAF I think the club needs to learn to be quicker in the market from now on if they want to keep a certain financial line. Mbeumo's price increased midway through and now M.F priced out
🚨 United could be expected to bring in an experienced striker to COMPETE with Benjamin Sesko for the starting number 9 spot next season. Danny Welbeck, Ivan Toney and Igor Thiago are names that are appreciated. [@JacobsBen@UnitedStandMUFC] #mufc
