it doesn't surprise me at all that the air at ground zero was toxic for much longer than the gov't said. and then i think about every person in gaza & in every nation we've bombed relentlessly who has had to breathe in air like that for days, weeks, months, years. because of us.
like at the worst part of me figuring out shit as a kid i was leaving the house and changing out of clothes and putting on a homemade binder made from tights and a tumblr DIY guide. the idea of not even having THAT makes me want to throw up
seeing young adult queer art that has homeschooling or characters that were specifically homeschooled (plot relevant) feels kinda horrifying as i realize how many of us didn't even have the escape of school (public, private, charter, fucking anything OUTSIDE) to figure it out
The things Haitians in Ohio are going through is pure cruelty and racism from the US. People should never joke about what is going on in Ohio and should have taken it seriously. Now 20 year old had killed himself due to how America has treated him. May he rest in peace 🙏🏾
💬hewwo..... is tis thing still on... :3c

fuck no. is it hard not to look at the character in his position and go "oh fuck you persevered despite everything and you are STILL miserable?!" with a tinge of sympathy? hell yes.
backrooms would have legit sucked actual ass if clark was not a black character. i remember having genuine tears in my eyes in the theater when he was choking back tears and saying that for once (in the backrooms) it finally feels like he is right where he is supposed to be
like yes he is not a protag or underdog or any kinda "good" character. he is a man who's ruined and takes it out on everyone else. but it's hard not to feel sympathetic to a character who HAD IT and then lost it all. is alcoholism and abuse the answer to losing what you gained?
