We're 140 today! 🥳 From one group in Glasgow to a worldwide movement, we're proud to celebrate this significant milestone 🙌 We give thanks to God for his faithfulness and all the opportunities for children and young people to experience "life to the full" (John 10:10) #BB140

One of the most severe marine heatwaves on Earth has developed off the coast of Ireland and the UK, with water temperatures as high as 4-5°C above normal.

NOAA's Marine Heatwave Watch has categorized this event as a Category 4 (extreme) marine heatwave.

This is happening all over the place. Why are we mowing verges and roadsides unnecessarily when these are ideal places to leave wild…

[Joel Ashton 🍃🌳🍃 @_JoelAshton]

Ok, this is beyond a joke now!! 😡 @NationalHways, PLEASE tell me why your contractors are out mowing down approx. 20 MILES (no joke!) of #wildflowers in the form of Oxeye Daisies, Sainfoin, Red Clover and MANY more, on the side of a straight section of the A1M??
Let’s say this was 5m wide (much wider in places), that’s approx. 160,000sqm (16 hectares or 39.5 acres!) of #wildflowermeadow you’ve single-handedly wiped out overnight!

No sight restrictions, no safety concerns.

Please have the decency to respond. So much for a #NoMowSummer.

The inheritance tax is morally wrong - it is a double tax. Every family should have the right to pass their belongings on to their children and grandchildren - that’s their possessions they have worked for and own - not the governments or anyone else’s.

@TMBC_Kent Thank you for getting back to me.

[little blue hodgepig 💙🦔 @ValBurnage]

Why are these trees being cut in nesting season, @TMBC_Kent ? There’s a magpie’s nest in one of them. We love these trees and are glad they’re being cared for but why not wait a month?! 😓

[little blue hodgepig 💙🦔 @ValBurnage]

@TMBC_Kent Thank you 🙏🏻

[little blue hodgepig 💙🦔 @ValBurnage]

@TMBC_Kent I believe the “No Ball Games” sign has TMBC at the bottom of it but I’ll check later on for you when the guys have finished.

[little blue hodgepig 💙🦔 @ValBurnage]

@TMBC_Kent The three green dots are the trees. St Benedict Road, Snodland ME6. Thanks for looking into it.

[little blue hodgepig 💙🦔 @ValBurnage]

@TMBC_Kent ME6 5 - we are TMBC here but it would be good to know who’s authorised this.

Do you fancy joining our lovely Pointless team…? We're looking for question writers on #Pointless. No experience necessary.

[little blue hodgepig 💙🦔 @ValBurnage]

I’m delighted to see that some parts of Snodland remain unmowed after yesterday’s tidy up. Lots of flowers left for our bees and pollinators. Really hoping it’s an intentional move by @TMBC_Kent and they’re not coming back later 🙏🏻

[little blue hodgepig 💙🦔 @ValBurnage]

Great news!

One of the most important flowers for pollinators. Please don’t spray/mow them.

So sad to see this on my own university, after years of campaigning for more sensitive/reduced mowing: pics show Monday & Wednesday this week. @SussexUni @CTRH
