Good to see @Citi and CEO Jane Fraser release their 2021 @FSB_TCFD Report & #netzero plan. We need these targets to be aligned with climate science and #NZBA guidelines to reach net zero. Citi’s Transition Principles offer welcome visibility on their approach.
Our #netzero targets are ambitious & climate science aligned: An absolute emissions reduction target of 29% for our Energy portfolio, and an intensity reduction target of 63% for our Power portfolio (representing the climate imperative to electrify everything while decarbonizing)
Last March, #Citi announced our commitment to reach #netzero emissions by 2050. Today, we're releasing our initial plan for achieving this goal. Read more from our CEO Jane Fraser on how we’re working with our clients to transition to net zero together: https://t.co/Ha4HqEOKPa

The @IEA just released the world’s first comprehensive roadmap for the global energy sector to reach net-zero emissions by 2050.
Our special report shows the pathway to net zero by 2050 is narrow but still achievable if governments act now.

You don't have to be a physicist (I dropped the major after three days) to understand why Congress should take science seriously. https://t.co/AGzqyB3mqF
Great graphics and article about how land use — and how much land is required to scale different climate solutions. Really underscores our need to approach climate from a systems perspective.
There is no climate justice without racial justice. For either the climate action or racial justice movement to fully succeed, they must be treated as inextricably linked.
