Last week, @ValViewElem and @YorkshireElem hosted playground picnics for incoming kindergarteners. Students were able to eat lunch, play, and meet future classmates! All new kindergartners are invited to the next picnic at noon on July 21, 2022.

Yesterday, @ValViewElem conducted screenings for incoming kindergarten students. Screenings help our staff assess students' knowledge prior to the first day of school. We really enjoyed this opportunity to meet the young learners in the Class of 2035!

Students from @ValViewElem participated in the annual Teddy Bear Parade today. @YorkSuburbanHS cheerleaders and marching band members were on hand to help create a festive atmosphere. It was an awesome way to support our youngest learners!

Congratulations to the @YWCAYork early learning programs at both @YorkshireElem and @ValViewElem for receiving 4-star ratings from Keystone STARS! A 4-star rating is the highest designation that can be earned through the Keystone STARS system. What an amazing accomplishment!

Monday was Toy Story Day in Mrs. Morrow's and Mrs. Johnson's @ValViewElem classrooms! Students participated in math, engineering, and reading activities based on the popular movie series. The teachers also wore matching Mr. Potato Head costumes!
