My take home messages from Reshmi Rajendran's talk about her career: don't ask yourself "how do I know it is the best job/move/... for me?" But "how bad do I want to see if it works?" I love this, my drive #leavingacademia#INSEADforGood
Make sure that no matter the fate of your startup, your reputation as a honest founder does not get tarnished. That way you are always in the position to start another company in the future.
Many startup founders consider lying as a way to get ahead. The vast majority quickly realize that whatever short term gain they might get from lying will be erased by the long term consequences **when** they get caught. Be honest.
Australians have watched with growing anger at what the Murdoch media monopoly is doing to our country. A cancer on democracy.
Today I am launching a national petition to establish a #MurdochRoyalCommission.

@LSHennessy I think and hope that's because there is less public lawn mowing happening. I think there is finally an increased awareness about how important all these wild flowers are for insects - whose numbers have horribly decreased.
Tell me I'm right...
@AnthonyCole68 well done!!! I actually put weight on because I started a new job = stress eating and being totally exhausted at the end of the day and just want to do nothing during the weekends :/ gaaah
@richp14017710 @AmyRemeikis Very true, and there are! They cost more but the quality of the product is very high, the customer experience and support as well
Dark Emu is a book about pre-colonised Aborigines life, it's a vital piece of Australian history. It reconsiders early settlers' journals and writing without all the biases of the time. Highly recommended. #darkemu#AboriginalLivesMatter#BlackLivesMatter
