@hamiltonulmer Totally. I think the gains are more like 2-5x, and plenty of it is the wrong thing, so net valuable gain would be closer to 2? Maybe 3-4 with top 1% judgment?
If you’re going to spend time on here, please keep your head screwed on and feet touching grass
There are so many content creators, foreign agents, and mentally unwell people who want you to hate your neighbors, for various reasons that are of zero benefit to you
@hamiltonulmer Maybe coding w/ agents ends up being a series of agents each focused on different goals. Like the first pass is the current Cursor / Claude Code. Second pass is this agent you are describing. Third pass is a code reviewer. Or maybe each type is a checkbox you can opt into.
@kane@SFMTA_Muni Going 100 miles per hour over the limit should be treated like intent to commit manslaughter. It should cost like $10k. And jail time.
@hamiltonulmer Yeah recently I've been writing a decent % of my PRs with Cursor background agents, polishing, then putting up for review, where Cursor bugbot auto-runs. Definitely cuts down on the amount of human review required.
@hjluks Thank you for posting this. As someone who deals with chronic knee pain every day, even achieving a hike or a bike ride is a big deal for me. Seeing a piece of fitness-related content that speaks to my lived experience means a lot.
@stephfilbay@KimBennell@HinmanRana@Tammy_Hoffmann@physioeducators@CHESM_unimelb So true. Thank you for doing these studies. My orthopaedic surgeon said "if you ever want to do anything other than job in a straight line, you'll need the ACL surgery". Six years of pain and complications later, I'm much worse off than I would have been had I not done the ACLR.
@elaifresh You should definitely get an x-ray if you haven't already. Good to rule things out. If it's a muscle strain, a good PT can help you understand what exactly hurts and how to avoid aggravating it further.
