No, I am not making this up.

The U.S. DOJ sued California Secretary of State Shirley Weber in 2025 to compel the surrender of unredacted statewide voter records, but a federal district court dismissed the case entirely in January 2026.

The DOJ has appealed the ruling, and the litigation remains active.

I am truly perplexed that so many people are against mosques being built...

I think it should be the goal of every Western Society to be tolerant regardless of their religious beliefs. Thus mosques should be allowed, in an effort to promote tolerance.

That is why I also propose that two nightclubs be opened next door to the mosque, thereby promoting tolerance from within the mosque. We could call one of the clubs, which would be gay, "The Turban Cowboy ", and the other a topless bar called "You Mecca Me Hot."

Next door should be a butcher shop that specializes in pork, and adjacent to that an open-pit barbecue pork restaurant, called "Iraq o' Ribs."

Across the street there could be a lingerie store called "Victoria Keeps Nothing Secret ", with sexy mannequins in the window modeling the goods.

Next door to the lingerie shop there would be room for an adult sex toy shop, "Koranal Knowledge ", its name in flashing neon lights, and on the other side an off-licence called "Morehammered."

All of this would encourage Muslims to demonstrate the tolerance they demand of us, so their mosque issue would not be a problem for others.

I’ve debated on speaking about this but I’ve decided staying silent is being complicit. It’s going to be long so know that. I’ve taken my daughter to the mall in Tulsa to shop her whole life. Recently, that mall has become unbearable. It’s overrun with people who don’t speak English, don’t adhere to our societal norms (personal space, waiting in line, etc). I can’t stand it so we don’t go anymore.

I’ve had many of my kids birthdays at Incredible Pizza in Tulsa. I decided to take my grandkids there yesterday. Same situation. Overrun with people who don’t speak English, have no manners, don’t know how to be civilized in a civil society. I live in supposedly the reddest state in the country. Why are we being forced to deal with these people who refuse to assimilate & don’t belong here?

60 Minutes actually used a post that had gotten a Community Note for being fake as evidence that X is now "rife with disinformation."

60 Minutes warned that the "disinformation" on X could ruin elections and threaten democracy. 😂

Fun facts. Before the 2020 election Leslie Stahl told the world that Hunter Biden's laptop was just a conspiracy and that it had been discredited. Both lies. I actually don’t care who’s LA Mayor. I just want to hire someone who is willing to bring on an adequate number of @LAPD for a city this size; properly equip the @LAFD; pick up the trash in the streets and on the freeways; get rid of all homeless encampments and put the mentally ill people who light fires, harass us at red lights, walk onto the freeways, etc into treatment; uphold existing laws and punish the increasing crime; fill potholes and file down the tire-popping ridges in the roads and freeways; shutdown and prosecute street take-overs that block traffic and scar the intersections; and stop “losing” billions of our tax dollars on various unfinished city projects.
It’s a very low bar.

@spencerpratt was the only person in this race who planned on doing something about any of it. I’d be fine if Bass as the @MayorOfLA had been interested in doing any of that the past 4 years. I’d be fine if @nithyavraman had gone in this direction during her years in City Council. But now it seems they want us to believe that most of the people in LA just love the city as the mess that it is, and in fact want the very people who made it this way to continue on and make it even worse.

Ok. I don’t believe you at all. But, I guess we’ll all get to watch you make a mess of the Olympics and any other event (natural or planned) that occurs here. It’s remarkable that competence is in such short supply.

She was riding her bike when a man previously arrested 5 times and was out on bond, gunned his engine, and smashed into Nyomi with his car.

They let him out on a $1,000 bond, then another $20,000 bond.

He is still out today.

If he was kept in jail, Nyomi would be alive today.
