I’m extremely disappointed with Aphmau and CatFace.

As a fan of 10+ years, and as a creator who was inspired by her to make my own Minecraft Roleplays I feel like I should have a say in this and words cannot describe how disappointed with her and the brand.

Allegedly this isn’t the first time they have used AI either on their posts/site. You can read the comments in the tagged posts. It’s even crazier to me that Aphmau herself uses AI to edit her photos and showed it off on a livestream.

The graphic has since been removed on their site so it shows that it indeed was AI. I honestly feel like the situation is going to be swept under the rug with a half baked apology blaming the company instead of taking ownership. I mean who knows maybe we won’t even get one this time just like the queerbaiting allegations from the first pillow whitewashing fiasco. AI is such as nasty and horrible things not only does it affect the Job Market for artists but for our planet as well.

We need to hold them accountable because if we don’t they’ll continue to do this thing and get away with it. I know this won’t go numbers but I do hope this reaches the right audience.

seen some takes how mzsu is ‘toxic’ now but it has always been that way since forever

no matter what universe alnst or zomst , mizi has people pleasing tendencies. she bottles up her violent outbursts and her only outlet is sua, who enables mizi to take it out on her and imprints the thought in her own mind that sua is inferior and weaker than her , wanting to ‘crush her’ . mizi can’t control it n is often crying and apologizing as her emotional response yet due to her environment shes never gets better at it ,

mizi’s character is very self-centered, focusing on her dreams n goals who juxtaposes with sua, someone whose life revolves around mizi often and always sacrificing herself as long mizi gets to live or they get to be together forever, usually imposed by sua herself without ever asking how mizi feels about it .

thing is ppl forget that it’s mutual, mizi just lets it happen , never ever confronts about it . she knows if she does , it always ends up with sua in tears and mizi extra miserable + it’s canon that mizi and sua often fought as kids

just wanna put this out there because i'm seeing way too many people glorify and sexualize this mizisua scene. it's meant to show the mutal obsession and toxicity, especially sua's (in this instance.) do not say things like "wow it's necrophilia it's so hot." people are not taking this seriously because it's two women, and if they're not joking about it, they're sexualizing it. treat toxic yuri how you would treat these things happening in any other sort of relationship.
