Marching on the sidewalks is a just as valid option and is encouraged for those who don't feel comfortable marching on the road
Volunteer March Marshals, wearing reflective vests, will be handling traffic and will be there if you have any concerns over safety or otherwise

Small update!
Because our group is so small, we will be utilizing our constitutional freedom as Canadians to express ourselves, instead of a permit from the city or paid police services (however, police are likely to be there regardless)
