@JustinC78603054 @Mike_Kennedy12 What if the runner is diving to avoid the tag by the 1B on a throw up the line. He has the advantage because he no longer has to dive to the white base. The 1B now has to cover 15” (size of the base) more to make the tag on the runner diving to the outside of the orange base.

You are now in the way of the runner because of the orange base that he has to run to. Can the 1B now drag his foot over the orange base for the out?
