After treatment for #ovariancancer, women want to know when they will feel ‘normal’ again. Our latest scientific research @QIMRBerghofer found most women normalised within 6 months but 2-in-5 never recover. Early support for at risk women is needed. See: https://t.co/hqIRiwi6b6
My talented masters student Tanya Ross @QIMRBerghofer + coauthors have published an insightful paper that found clinical insomnia affects one-in-three women with #ovariancancer and affects their future quality of life. See https://t.co/acFseFXxHc
For the past decade Rachel Neale and I have been studying the devastating affect of pancreatic cancer. Now our team at @QIMRBerghofer UQ QUT & @QCCS4 have been awarded an MRFF grant to trial a Telehealth support service for carers with our partners at the @AvnerFoundation.

Apologies for not being able to present yesterday at the Victorian Cancer Survivorship Conference #survivorship2020. I’m recovering from a car accident and am so grateful to be able to stream the conference online. Great initiative @M_Jefford.
It was an honour to attend the historic Avner Pancreatic Cancer Foundation event in Canberra. Well done #AvnerFoundation for bringing together patients, policymakers, researchers and medical professionals. May we create a better future for those affected by #pancreaticcancer.
