Since yday, I've been looking at the traffic patterns in Hinjawadi. More than 60% vehicles entering the area pass through Bhumkar Chowk or Bhujbal Chowk. That means traffic is coming from PCMC, not Pune. I'm uncertain whether the metro will truly reduce traffic when it starts.

PITCMRL says Pune Metro Line 3 was delayed by unexpected engineering challenges, construction in densely populated areas, labor shortages, supply chain disruptions, and pending station works. "There were many unexpected issues," said PITCMRL CEO Anil Kumar Saini.
