*Key Project UPDATE 8: Concrete work at Panathur Main Road near Railway Under Bridge (RUB)*
A stretch of Panathur Main road from the Railway Underpass until Bhoganahalli Main Road junction has been identified for CONCRETE ROAD and the road closure notice has been shared by BTP

However, the land acquisition of few properties took longer time than anticipated. As the land acquisition got completed, the demolition of the buildings has started

Our MLA Smt. Manjula Aravind Limbavali is ensuring coordination between various departments to ensure this critical work is completed soon

Land acquisition through Cash Compensation for Panathur S-Cross widening was approved by *GoK in September 2022 and the actual notification process started in early 2023*

Ex Minister and ex MLA Shri Aravind Limbavali was instrumental in getting this exception approval as CASH COMPENSATION for land acquisition by BBMP is extremely rare. Without this key decision/approval, we would not even be talking of Panathur S-Cross widening

We will continue to focus on this key project which would ease traffic movement in this critical stretch connecting Varthur, Balagere, Gunjur and Gunjurpalaya to Outer Ring Road

#Bengaluru's #NammaMetro (as of Nov 2025) has ~96 km operational: Purple Line (43 km), Green Line (30 km), plus recent extensions. Phase 2 adds Yellow (19 km, starting soon), Pink (21 km, Dec 2025), and Blue to airport (58 km, ~55% complete, due 2027).
