There are several examples where alternative meds were put through scientific rigor & something good resulted

@DileepSarada I do not feel that the tolerance to pain should be promoted as a virtue. There are numerous reasons for inter individual variations. If people are not aware that they can be made comfortable, they will try to live with it.

When I was in London recently a young O&G trainee asked me why labouring women in India are not given epidural. I told her India is a developing country and we do not have quality public healthcare like the UK. :(
