Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is pushing Centre to go ahead with delimitation in Andhra irrespective of what happens to the defeated Delimitation Bill meant for the entire country. But, why does he want it. Read this:

PLAYING WITH FIRE: Pavan Kalyan should realise he is a non entity in Telangana.
And as for Andhras in Telangana, they are now what Telugus in Maharashtra or Karnataka are. Be here, do your jobs and businesses and prosper. That’s where the line will be drawn.
By trying to woo the Andhras, both Congress and BJP are risking antagonising the core Telangana voters.

PLAYING WITH FIRE: Are the Congress and BJP misreading the strength of Telangana identity in pursuit of GHMC arithmetic. History suggests that’s a risky gamble and could badly boomerang. #Telangana

THE MINISTER WHO SAT ON A STOVE:
If any Indian politician wants a masterclass in how to politically self-destruct during a crisis, they need only study the step-by-step template unwittingly provided by Bandi Sanjay over the past 10 days.
From defending his son in a POCSO case, to turning a party office visit into a spectacle without visible backing from his own leadership, every move meant to contain the fallout appears to have only widened it.

Union Minister XXXXX, who secured a gag order from court not to link him with his son’s arrest in a POCSO case, on Wednesday visited the BJP office in Hyderabad where he spoke yet again only about this case and nothing else. Gag not for him but others!
WHAT HE SAID: Show me if there was any other occasion anywhere in the country when a father himself handed over his son to the police.
WHAT IS THE FACT: He himself claimed at the time of surrender of his son that they waited for a week hoping to get anticipatory bail. In other words, the accused was hiding even after the police issued summons to appear and surrendered only after all options exhausted.
How often do we see Congress and the BJP on the same page on any issue? But, in Telangana, they are. On whether Union Minister of state for Home Bandi Sanjay should take moral responsibility for what his son allegedly did and got arrested under POCSO.

Telangana BJP and Congress leaders' response on demands that Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay should resign following the arrest of his son in a POCSO case
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “mere se jud jao” remark to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy triggered intense political chatter.
Was it just a quip? Or a carefully crafted political message?
Why is Telangana BJP being so soft towards Revanth government?
My analysis on the politics, the messaging and the larger BJP game plan in Telangana

The biggest political damage in the Telangana POCSO case wasn’t the allegation alone - it was the handling of it.
From defiance to smear campaigns to delayed surrender, every move deepened the crisis.
Today, it has become a political case study in how not to handle allegations involving power, police, courts and public perception.
In politics, survival often depends less on the accusation—more on the response.
Here is a classic case where the rope is self-made.

Legal experts say now that Bandi Bhageerath surrendered to the police and has been arrested, the anticipatory bail petition pending before Telangana HC becomes infructous.
What’s the drama unfolding in Hyderabad since Saturday morning?
Verified information suggests that after the High Court deferred orders on the anticipatory bail plea filed by his son in a POCSO case, Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar reportedly spoke late Friday night to a top police officer and informed his is ready to surrender. The response: wait for police instructions on when the accused could surrender.
Then, around noon on Saturday, media leaks suddenly emerged claiming multiple police teams were “searching” the residences and other locations linked to Bhageerath.
So what changed between midnight and this morning?
Why was the family asked to await instructions? Why the sudden media spectacle of “search operations”? And if teams are indeed searching everywhere, how is Bhageerath still absconding till this moment?
Too many unanswered questions. Too much theatre. Too little clarity.
Irrespective of the final verdict, the POCSO survivor has already won half the battle.
A large section of Telangana society is now standing firmly with her. The change in mainstream media is telling: Telugu TV channels that were largely silent until recently are now flashing scrolls about police searches at multiple locations — including the residence of Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar, father of the accused.
That shift matters. Silence is breaking. Public pressure is growing. Accountability is now part of the conversation.
When people unite for justice, the truth finds its way out.
Big shoutout to all the activists, journalists, women’s groups, civil society voices & politicians across party lines who spoke up for the victim in the sensational Telangana POCSO case.
