@flyethiopian I boarded a connecting flight from Lagos to Addis Ababa to Johannesburg on the 6 January 2024. I checked in my luggage only to get to Johannesburg and realised it was missing. Please, I need my luggage. It has personal items that are important and affecting my daily activities.
I will be adding my voice to the conversation on “Compassion and Care: Emotions and Experience in the Care of Children through History,” organized by @KateGibson22 & @claudiajsoares & will hold at the John Rylands Research Institute and Library, Manchester, UK, on March 23 - 24.
Today, 14th of October 2022, my Four Years PhD journey officially came to a grandeur and ceremonious end in the main auditorium of the 1820 Settlers’ National Monument at Rhodes University, South Africa. To God, I owe this enormous achievement. #RUOCTGRAD2022 🧣📚🇿🇦
Deeply honoured to be among the Forty-one Early Career Scholars from Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda, awarded with a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the African Humanities Program’s Final Cohort of the American Council of Learned Society (ACLS).
Who sells crude oil for 60 years and cannot boast of a clean 200km highway, not one world class university or hospital, yet thousands of politicians are brandishing national awards as suffix to their names?
For achieving what exactly?
I wish I know...
Shame Shame Shame....

There have been reports of shooting at the location of an #EndSARS protest in Lekki, a wealthy suburb of Lagos, Nigeria. A number of people are reported killed and injured.
You deprive them of everything even their lives! They come out to protest against their being killed and you killed them the more?

History will forever be unkind to President @MBuhari. Under his watch, at the Lekki Toll Gate, Lagos, Nigerian soldiers shot live bullets at young, unarmed, innocent protesters demanding an end to police brutality.
The history books will forever remember you for this!

UPDATE: Amnesty says it has seen “credible but disturbing evidence of excessive use of force occasioning deaths of protesters" in Nigeria's Lagos https://t.co/Tr9wRFrMPa
