And to everyone at YouTube, I know you have a hard job. You have a lot of propaganda to counter, graphic content, that you all never speak about.

You do incredible work in the shadows and nobody is thanking you, are they?

Thank you for countering such content.

But please advocate within YouTube as a company for a better appeal system.

My company's brands are producing animations that are distributing on TV and streaming platforms, with 100 staff working from 16 countries globally -- and they got banned.

See SolarBalls, MrSpherical, Human Buddy for examples. Pure, original animation.

Documentary content too.

I spend $3-5k per video.

If 3 weeks of appealing gets me from 1 channel banned to 21...

And 48 hours of causing drama on X gets me 21 channels unbanned... there's clearly a problem, isn't there?

Let's at least ensure the appeal system actually works when the automations get it wrong.

That's a fundamental possibility, even if automations make errors. If your appeal system is broken too, that's going to screw too many people permanently.

Or... until they damage YouTube's reputation (unnecessarily) in front of 10,000s here on X. A hand that gets forced.

I will tag relevant parties here. Even if you're not a part of the violations team, please consider surfacing this in a business meeting next week.

It will help creators + YouTube's reputation in the coming years, a lot.
